I had a laryngectomy in April 2009 so come this April it will be 10 years cancer free! 

I also had to have a colonoscopy which failed because the laxative they told me to take failed as the bowel was not empty! I waited a few weeks (2-3) for an appointment for a CT scan. The laxative they sent me worked while I was sleeping therefore I woke in a pool of poo!!! If anyone else is going for this BE VERY AWARE of how strong some of these laxatives are and hope no-one else has a similar experience!
