Help with cost of childcare during cancer treatment?

Hi all,

I have a 2 year old who will need to go to nursery more once I begin chemo etc and I'm worried about paying for it. Is there any additional support or benefit for childcare costs and how do I access it? I also have a child starting school in September and I'm already worrying about paying for all the bits she's going to need.

Any advice will be gratefully received

Google MacMillan benefit advice and support. They should be able to help you with advice. Your local CAB may also be able to offer advice
How are you managing on your chemo?

It's all so stressful!

I've not started my treatment yet. They're still figuring out a plan but I just want to get everything organised so that it's all in place for when I can't sort anything out anymore.

Just adding that it might be worth chatting to social services. They will be keen to support your 2 year olds healthy development and safety going through this experience with you.
