Help us diagnose lung cancer sooner

17 Jan 2017 09:54

Cancer Research UK is committed to finding new ways to diagnose cancer earlier to make sure more people survive cancer, with less side effects of treatment.  Recent innovation in the NHS has looked at ways it might be possible to speed up this process for lung cancer patients. To decide how these new approaches should influence how the Government organises the NHS, our policy team wants to hear from people who have been through lung cancer (either as a patient themselves or as a close friend or family member).

How you can help

We are organising a focus group and telephone interviews to discuss diagnosis of lung cancer, how you think any changes might work in practice and if this will give enough support to people having tests to diagnose lung cancer.
