Hi my dad (who is 86) has been diagnosed with a brain tumour. Due to circumstances he has not been offered any treatment. Except radiotherapy when his situation worsens.  He is taking steroids to reduce inflammation. Risk of treatment and infection outweigh benefits. Also we have been given no prognosis or time frame. Can anyone offer advice?

    I'm sorry to hear about your Dad's recent diagnosis. Undoubtedly it's a difficult time for you all and it sounds as if you have quite a few questions. 

    We do have some information on our website here which may be useful but I think you might find it helpful to speak to one of our nurses. I'm sure that they will be able to give you some advice and offer some support. They're available on 0808 800 4040 (Mon-Fri 9am to 5pm).
