My condolences Brian.  Sad news for all the family though some element of release in knowing she is free now from her long term illness.

Thanks for still finding the time to post such cute pictures which have helped the start of my day.  Just heard that due to a tree on the line I will have a long winded bus journey (and an added 25min walk) for work today.  Storm Eleanor certainly made her presence felt during the night but still dark so not sure what  I will see outside. Will need to leave for work earlier than usual but seems I could be blown along as it is still howling outside.

Stay safe.  Jules

Hi folks,

Thanks Jules. Sorry to read you have an extended journey to get in to work. My sisters funeral is on Friday and I do feel for my brothers and sisters in Canada. I only ever met her for about a day so never really got to know her unfortunately.

Some gave me not one,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,But two balck eyes.

Be more gentle you clumsy oaf; that hurt,

I'm just hanging about.

You dont want to upset these guys or you might see or rather feel the point.

I wish you all a safe day, Brian.

So sorry to hear about your sister in Canada - even if you didn't know her well it's still sad news.

Thanks for all the pics, some really cute ones over the last few days.

Take care, you and Mrs B in this stormy weather.

Great selection again Brian, thank you.

I know you will have your extended family in your thoughts through these difficult days.  Sometimes it is hard being at a distance isn't it?

Lost of few trees around here last night due to Storm Eleanor.  My walk to the station (by the time I got there the tree on the line had been dealt with so just delays rather than no service) was quite an obstacle course.  First in our road, a tree was blocking the top end and then another enormous treet on our main road had crashed into the nearby front garden; poor lady was standing outside surveying the damage.  It also bought some power lines down and the chap was up the pole trying to restore them.  I lost count of the amount of fencing/dustbins/rubbish strewn everywhere and then on our local parade of shops many shop signs were laying on the pavement.  Can only hope that as it was during the night no-one was hurt.

Still extremely blustery but has dried up quite a lot thankfully.

Hope all is well in your neck of the woods.  Stay safe and warm.  Jules

Morning folks,

Thanks Gemini, Hazel and Jules.

I would like to be in Canada to pay my respects but my youngest sister tells me where she lives they have snow up to the wazoo whatever that is. Plus Mrs B cant travel that distance and I cant leave her It was the same when my dad passed away over two years ago.

I've just heard, dinners ready.

Wake me at your peril.......I love this tree.

How I look when I've run out of nuts ha ha.

I got this far up but I cant go no further,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,And now I cant even get down HELP

Just the usual nonsence folks, Brian.

Hi Brian

Know you will be thinking of the family in Canada and am sure they understand how difficult it would be.By the way 'wazoo' is just another name for bottom. My son in law has relatives in Canada and know a visit there is on that dream wish list.

Love the tree-hugging bears and all the nonsense lightens what has been a pretty miserable day again so thank you. Jules

Great pictures the last couple of days Brian.Once again I am playing catch up after spending the weekend with family.  Isn't amazing that we feel we have had enough rain to last for ages and yet the resevoir needs topping up constantly.  Not much rain in Bucks this weekend  but today was bitterly cold and we had frost the last two mornings.

Loved the owl in flight..................absoutely majestic.  I managed this shot whilst watching my grandson at rugby training this morning. Unfortunately not a great shot but I am not too good at moving objects ha ha.  Jules

Thanks for your kind comments Brian. I do rather struggle with moving objects ha ha.  This red kite was overhead at my grandson's rugby training and I gave it a go!!

Cute shots today so thanks for sharing. Made me smile after a difficult visit to see Mum.
