First I must say that the monkey one did make me laugh, Brian!  Wonderful expression - you can see that we are descended from them, can't you?

Also loved all the others yesterday and today, so thanks for all your hard work getting them sorted, Brian.

Oh dear, I feel even more sorry for poor Mrs B now!  Happy

Thanks for these today, I hope Sue sees them and they cheer her up.  Not sure about the one for Jules, Brian - something seems to have gone wrong and it hasn't printed on my site, unless you meant it to be of a very small question mark? Happy

I found this one in my paper today, thought it was rather nice.

Aha, have just checked the site on my phone and your last pic of the butterfly is there! Weird that it didn't appear on my i-pad, but ours not to reason why with all this supposedly brilliant hi- tech equipment!

I'm sure Jules will love it if she can see it!

Hi all,

Seem to be lagging behind on this thread, sorry.  Some great pictures Brian and Hazel and yes can see and do love the butterflies.  Like you Hazel my tablet and phone sometimes do not show the pictures but do seem to catch up eventually!!  I still prefer accessing this forum through the laptop but, of course, that is not 'mobile'!!

Today these were a few of the visitors to my garden during a very busy morning on the feeders. Pleased to say the sparrowhawk missed it's target on this occasion!!

Good morning friends,

Thanks Gemini, Hazel and Jules.

See you caught me in the act again in raiding your nut feeder ha ha. Seroiusly now, Great pictures yet again Jules.

Todays theme is feathered friends.

We are really part of THE RED ARROWS display team but we're in disguise.

Just showing off my plumages again.

Now kids, Listen to what your father is telling you

I too love to display my plumage.

Hope you enjoy todays selection, Brian.

Hi Brian

This feathered selection are very pleasing to the eye especially the peacock.

Thanks for your kind comments and I am now imagining you squirrelling around to find your own supply of nuts (the naughty squirrel in my garden has unearthed some newly planted bulbs and left a deposit of acorns so am going to have to have my wits about me so I am not left with oak saplings instead of snowdrops and winter aconites!!)  Jules

Gosh, you do get a selection in your garden, Jules, you are lucky.  I feel lucky if I see my robin!

Thanks for these, as usual.

Take care, Hazel xx

Hi Hazel,

Hope you are keeping well.  Must say I am not a fan of the cooler mornings telling me Autumn is here!!

Have had my robins daily for a few generations but could well do without the gatecrasher squirrel who 'steals' the bird food given the chance. Of course the sparrowhawk was amazing to see though he was only looking for prey and not interested in the feeders!!  My majority groups are now the sparrows and goldfinches.  A row of suburban gardens several with feeding stations probably helps plus I sit within a triangle of parks which are all only a few minutes walk away. Add to that several different varieties of wild bird food always supplied I think the birds are 'canny' visitors ha ha.  They are a pleasure to watch and come and go.  Of course I have the added bonus of not having to worry about them when I am away nor vet bills!!

Take care my friend, Jules xx
