Good morning my friends,
Here is a picture of Mrs B's Christmas Owl. She has wanted a big cuddley owl ever since she was a little girl. She fell in love with it as soon as she saw it in the shop so I just had to buy it for her. She has a lot to put up with all her health problems let alone having to put up with me ha ha. It was worth it just to see the smile on her face, Brian.
Good morning folks,
Hope you are all well. Thanks for the kind comments.
He/she looks cold.
Too close for me; I would have needed a change of underwear afterwards
Mothering instinct is very strong.
Nellie the Elephant packed her trunk and trundled of to the circus. Who remember this song; I bet Seabird does.
A lovely coloured owl. Or you could say your up before the beak, Brian.
Love you pictures and comment as well the one with bilke with trainners so funny I wonder if that going to be new craze Mrs B's Christmas owl ahh so cute thanks for sharing take care
All adorable pics Brian it hsrd to choose a favourite but the golden lab looking after all those chicks awww your right nelly the ele was a fav when I was little only now it reminds me of someone I'd rather not think of. Meaning trump trump trump!!!!! That little ele is soooo cute thanks Brian. I always save looking at your pics for when I have to lie down & they always make me smile.
love Mrs B's owl has he/she got a name yet?
Looks as though you might have been banished from the sofa in favour of Olllie Owl, Brian! He's very cute, I bet Mrs B is over the moon (sorry, I hate that phrase but it does fit here I think).
I remember Nellie the Elephant well, Brian, it was a regular on Ed Stewpot's Saturday radio prog - along with The Runaway Train, The Laughing Policeman etc! Mind you, I was in my teens then, we used to listen to it at work upstairs in the bank and all sing along! Those were the days.
Absolutely love the little ellie and the Labrador with her chicks, beautiful stuff.
Thanks for all these, Hazel xx
Very cute Brian and know if Mrs B is delighted this will make you happy too. Beautiful day here so have washing on the line and had a lovely walk this morning. Good to feel the sun on my face. Have a peaceful day with Mrs B. Jules
Great selection for all our tastes here on the forum, thank you Brian. I am sure Sue will be singing the Nellie the Elephant song when she sees the photograph and I remember it from my childhood as well as singing it to my children/grandchildren. Jules
What a reminder you gave me. We had the radio upstairs (secretarial floor) above the bank below and the typewriters rattled along to the tunes (of course before the days of the electric machines which came in a couple of years before I left to have family. As you rightly say, those were the days!!
Been out in the beautiful sunshine this morning and am now gathering myself ready for the card writing marathon (gives me pleasure though).
Hope you having a pleasant day. Jules x

Afternoon Gemini, so pleased your mum is feeling a bit better and bless her, putting up the lights and Santa for your baby - something for her to concentrate on and take her mind off her illness for a while. Good days and bad days, we all know about those on here, and you must keep those good ones in your heart, Gemini.
Take care, Hazel xx
