Completely understandyour frustration, I had an MRI, CT and bones scan, and then they sent for a PET CT scan after that, which meant waiting longer. For me the CT scan picked up an inflamed appendix completely unrelated to my BC, the PET scan confirmed this and I ended up having it taken out prior to any treatment. I didn’t have any symptoms of appendicitis so it was a good job I’d had the scans.

Each of the scans do different jobs and it’s important for them to have as much info as possible to rule things out.  Easy to say but not easy to put to the back of your mind.

Thanks huni. The waiting is so hard especially when I can't eat. Feeling snappy and tired. To be honest it's been only about a month since I went to gp so they have done well. I'm just not a patient person lol xx

It’s important to try and eat a little bit to get the nutrients you need.  Have you tried smoothies, might be easier than trying to eat something if you are stuggling.

I am purely on build up milkshakes can't eat anything xx

Hello I’m new to this forum after being away from it for a while my daughter has a incurable cancer and she went through a time when all  she could  onlydrink those build up milkshakes  she’s now still very unwell but is now able  to eat small amounts of food  I hope you get to that stage where u can eat food again to my best wishes to u
