Let's beat cancer sooner

Francis Crick Institute

2 Oct 2015 16:30

Returned home today to find a white envelope on the mat with the words 'IF YOU HAVE EVER FEARED CANCER, YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THIS PLACE' with the Cancer Research UK Insignia in the corner.  This was asking for help to set up and run the new Francis Crick Institute by way of regular monthly commitments.  Has anyone come across this literature before or perhaps there is a link to learn more.

Thank you Jules54

Hello Jules,

Cancer Research UK has committed to raise £100m for the Francis Crick Institute. Cancer Research UK has been raising funds philanthropically since 2012, and in this final year of fundraising, we’re asking more people than ever before to support the campaign. Find out more and watch the short film at cruk.org/crick.

There are a number of ways to support our campaign for the Francis Crick Institute from making a donation, setting up an online fundraising page or buying a wristband or Crick Pin Badge to support the campaign.

I hope this helps and thank you for your interest Jules!

Lucie

Many thanks Lucie. Have used the link provided and think this would be a wonderful way to help take medical research forward into the future. I think my late husband would approve of my donating regularly in his memory for such a worthwhile cause.  Best regards Jules

I am glad you like the cause Jules! Thank you very much for all your support. It's great to know your late husband would approve too.
