I am not a doctor but understand that it is possible to have a number of ibroadenoma in one breast. Sometimes the larger ones are what is known as complex cysts. If they are particularly large, doctors sometimes remove them.

I am glad to hear that you don't have too long to wait for your breast clinic appointment and hope that all turns out well for you.

Thank you for your reply. Yes I think if I'm given the option of having it removed I will take it so as to put any future worry to an end.

Hopefully the second lump is the same kind ie fibroadenoma. 

I will keep you updated after my appointment.

Good news, been to the clinic. I have 6 fibroadenoma all together and the original one has doubled in size from 9 mm to 18mm. They said they aren't worried about them and I didn't need a biopsy. I guess I'm just good at growing lumps!

Thanks Jolamine yes I'm very relieved and I suppose now I'm 50 I will have 3 yearly mammograms so they will be monitored, that makes me feel much better.
