She is definately on her way Happy should be here about 2

Tis never as cold down here but thank heavens for central heating!!

Today more than ever, I want the cure for cancer!! There is a personal reason to ask everyone to put this message on your status for at least 1 hour. I know who will put it! Think of someone you love who had cancer or is at this time fighting. My wish is that in 2016 the cure is found. I hope to see this on the status of all my friends. Don't share, but copy and paste.❤ to your comment on my poetry, when I was younger I wanted to write a book based on my story, then when my youngest was little I wanted to write & illustrate childrens books but sadly never got it together. I hadn't written any poetry for years until I joined this forum & have really enjoyed writing them. My inner voice has certainly woken up!! I do hope they make people smile.

Keep warm x

ps the writing about a cure for cancer magically appeared as I read back my post & have left it there bcos that's what we all yearn for

Good morning all

that was such a lovely post Hazel Happy

sparrow came home with the most gorgeous potted Christmas tree. Its about 3ft tall & 3ft wide, really bushy & we have called him Boris Happy He is standing on the chest of drawers in the front room. She walked in the door with 3 beautiful bunches of flowers & a poinsetta which are all the front room window. She also bought some very cute tree decs to add to our collection. Hi Gemini

I certainly am being royaly spoilt & I LOVE IT

Plans for today will include sparrow getting the decs down from the loft, dressing boris & sparrow will be settling into a beachside animal friendly chalet this afternoon which means Alfie can go there too.

Hi Gemini

So sorry u are feeling rough:( & your poor mum having shingles, have heard that it can be very painful. Hope it clears up quickly & that your meds are ready soon.

Earlier I showed sparrow the poem I put up earlier & the poor girl burst into floods of tears. It was an outpouring of emotions as she is so worried about me. I'm in bed now resting & waiting for pain meds to kick in. We have some celtic instrumental music playing & she is happily decorating Bruce ( renamed tree as I forgot that boris was someone in the public eye)

Sending u a mahoosive hug x

Glad you have renamed your tree, Seabird, Boris always looks so untidy, Bruce is much better, 'Bruce the Spruce'.

Hope you're painkillers have kicked in and you are lying there admiring all those gorgeous plants and flowers.  Something tells me you are a much-loved mum!

Take care , Hazel xx

Hi Gemini, so sorry to hear about your mum, that's all she needs on top of everything else, bless her - and now she can't even have the pleasure of seeing your little one, so sad.

Also sorry that you are still feeling so bad yourself, hope you get your meds soon.

Thinking of you, Hazel xx
