Dull ache left thigh

Hi, I am 29. I had mri on Saturday and it was an hour long. Now today the dull ache in my thigh is really bad its constant. I bee. Taking paracetamol, ibuprofen but not easing off. Feels sore to touch. Knee is swollen so I have iced it and put it up. I am just slightly concerned now. I rnag the secretary this morning to get an update on mri and said scan not come through yet with results but was told I be contacted by a Dr by end of Friday this week. Now should I be worried seems fast? 

  • I'm sorry about the ache you're experiencing in your thigh Butterfly. Do be sure to let your doctor or medical team know about this, especially if the pain relief you're currently taking isn't working.

    As one of our members said on your other discussion, results can come through at any time so try not to overthink the speed of this if you can. If anything, being contacted by the end of the week means you'll have less time to wait which, as many of our members will tell you, is very welcome in these situations.
