I started bleeding this morning randomly, never happened before, in the middle of my cycle so not due on for another couple of weeks. The doctor did an internal and said she could see a spot on the wall of my cervix. Should I be worried? She did swabs and said i'll the results in a week but I'm so worried now! Please someone help!

Welcome to our forum, siankathryn.
I'm sorry to hear that the doctor could see a spot on the wall of your cervix and that is causing you to be concerned. Waiting for the results for a week when "something" was found can be a very trying experience but try to keep your mind busy with other things, if you can. I know this is easier said than done but stressing your mind out until you get to speak to your doctor again will likely only make things worse.
However, if you find yourself unable to focus on other things and feel like chatting with someone medically trained until your next appointment, feel free to call our cancer nurses. Their lines are open Monday - Friday between 9 a.m - 5 p.m on 0808 800 4040.
I hope you get some answers soon, siankathryn, and that they turn out not to be anything sinister.
Once you know more, stop by and give us an update if you find a moment. We're keeping our fingers crossed for you.
