CT Scan

I had a biopsy almost 3 weeks, ago on my larynx. Today I was called by the hospital making me an appointment for a CT scan on Wednesday. I am now convinced I have cancer and worried. Do they sometimes have a CT scan after a biopsy to make sure all is well

    Welcome to Cancer Chat. I'm not too sure of the reasons they have booked you for a scan - it will be to find out more but of course I don't know what if anything they've already found out. I see that it was today that you had your appointment, so I hope by now you have been able to find out a bit more.

    Has CT scan this morning. Now just a waiting game. Not sure how long results take. But if it's quick my anxiety will kick in even worse. So hoping I don't hear for a while
