Concerned but keeping a level head

Hi Guys

Am a male age 34.

I had like quite a few episodes of acid reflux until I noticed my throat was hurting the next morning. When I looked in my mouth I noticed my left tonsils was much larger then the right one and concluded to why my throat was hurting.

I left this to my consciousness of it probably being a viral infection and will most likely disappear. It's been roughly 4/5 weeks and it still remains. Light Pain when dry and swallow but most of the time I don't even feel like it's their.

I know the anxiety one can have knowing what it can be sure to recently being diagnosed with cancer in my bladder which was caught quite early at stage one low grade and now am in the clear after my first check up.

I also hope my tonsil is inflamed due to acid reflux and my right nostril not operating as I can only breath with one of my nostrils.

  • Hi Asif and welcome to the Cancer Chat forum.

I'm really glad that your bladder cancer was caught early and you're now in the clear although I'm sorry about your new concerns.

We'll have our fingers crossed this is no cause for concern but our community will be here for you if this isn't the case.

Do let us know how you get on with any tests you have for this Asif and hopefully it won't be long until you know what it is.

    Kind regards,

    Steph, Cancer Chat Moderator
