My friend is fighting brain cancer - Glioblastoma - and shares a house with another chap who has come back from holiday with a stinking cold. Should I make arrangements for my friend to stay elsewhere until his roommate's cold clears up? He was diagnosed in June, had surgery followed by chemo+radiation and had round one of six chemo (300mg Temodar x 5 days per month) the week of September 2nd so his immune system is going to be pretty weak isn't it?

What is the danger of catching a cold whilst fighting cancer and going through chemo?

He lives abroad otherwise he could come and stay with me.
