Hello

I have been burping about 50 times a day now for about 3 months. I have no other symptoms.and the systems haven't got any worse

my doctor believes its anxiety and is sending me for an endoscopy.

None of the antacid drugs he has given me have worked.

I have read a few websites ( naughty I know) which say belching on its own is raely a sign of stomach cancer.

Does anyone have a view on this?

Sorry you are worrying.
I was diagnosed with stomach cancer in August, burping was not a symptom I had, I did have a little reflux and bloating and nausea, but was all quite mild, my biggest change in my body was a loud, rumbling tummy.
I hope you’re endoscopy is clear, best of luck.

The endoscopy never happened, I saw a specialist who examined me and basically said nothing was wrong with me, the hiccups just stopped.
I had a lot of anxiety in my life at the time and maybe is how it expresses itself, I felt a fool TBH.
