Hi there

I (& all on here) know exactly how you're feeling & it seems like it's all you think about.

have you got operation arranged & have they advised if you'll need treatment after?

I managed by trying to take each day at a time & not thinking too far ahead. Step by step. It's hard I know but if you can, try to remain positive as you will get through this & as ladies on here helped me, we're all kicking cancers butt.

Keep in touch

Hello Sue

Hope you are keeping well.

I've taken the plaster off the cut under my arm and it has healed well.  Too scared to take the one off my breast will let the nurse do that tomorrow.

Got my next appointment on 2nd December in the morning for the results.  It say it could take all morning?  Any idea why this is?  Was this the case with you?

When all the plasters are off and I am not so tender I am going to start moisturing my chest to prepare for the next assult!

I really appreciate all the help you have given me.

Hi Sue

I'm good thanks & glad to hear you've taken plaster off & looking good. I'm sure the other will be fine too.

I'm not sure why it may take all morning. I don't remember anything like that. I was in with my consultant a while though as he explained what he'd done & I had questions to ask.

Yes get that moisturiser going when you can. To be honest the radiotherapy wasn't bad at all. 1st one is longest as they get you lined up & put markings on you so you line up each time. Then you're only in 5 mins each time. U don't feel a thing. Luckily I had no side effects.

hope all goes ok with removing rest of plaster & your next exam. Keep doing the stretches !

I suppose when they give you the results from the lymp glands etc and then discuss the treatment.  Fingers crossed it will just be the radiotherapy.  Glad you are still doing so well it is very encouraging.

Hi Suego

How you doing and how are you feeling?  It's a strange journey we all find ourselves on isn't it?  I heard on 19th September that I have BC and had my lumpectomy and lymph node removal on 1st October.

On 30th October I got the results from the tumor, lymph nodes and sectional removal and as a result of this need a mastectomy which I am having on 20th November.

It certainly has been a surreal two months and going to continue a bit longer but it certainly makes you think about what is important!

Wishing you well and hope your op on 2nd December goes well.  Guess you and I will be getting our next batch of results at the same time.

Be kind to yourself and let your family know how you feel, don't keep it all inside. Rosie

Hi Suego

I am truly thrilled they have brought your operation forward to the 18th November as there is nothing worse than waiting.  I should imagine it was a bit of a shock to you when they said it but I bet you were happy?

Try to relax over tomorrow and the weekend and I look forward to hearing from you once the operation is over.......

Take care, Rosie x

Thank you.
