Hi Ella, I'm also 30 and going through similar although sounds like I'm a bit further with investigations. My GP asked me to do a FIT and calprotectin stool test. My calproctectin test came back normal but the FIT test (blood in stool) came back positive. My GP referred me on a two week wait referral to the gastro team at hospital. I had a colonoscopy and my consultant said she couldn't see any cancer or polyps but took ten biopsies. I am waiting for the results. I would imagine they may offer a colonoscopy but have you been offered a FIT test yet? It's so tricky because since my referral, I've learned that bowel symptoms can be such a wide range of conditions. They usually rule out bowel cancer to start with and then narrow down what else it could be. If you have any questions, let me know. I hope it all goes ok with the referral to your specialist. Was it on a two week urgent referral?
