I've found the forum to be a hard read the last few days with many posts/threads moving me to tears.
So much support for people who are in desperate circumstances.
And it's clear that, despite the hardships of many cancer sufferers, the people caring for them have a much harder time of it in many, if not most cases.
Relentless work, relentless worry. Often suffering an equal drop in their quality of life. And ongoing. Their suffering doesn't stop when the cancer patient's does but goes on, sometimes for many years.
I, for one, am humbled by the resilience and fortitude of the human spirit, evident in the stories posted here.
Those of a military persuasion will understand the 'blowin' smoke' reference but for those who don't, I just wanted to put on record my appreciation for carers everywhere.
