That’s awful for you to have to wait this long.... Is there not another Doctor in the practice who will speak to you? 

My biopsy was for breast cancer and I was seen 2 weeks later and given results!! 

You haven’t said what your biopsy was for so maybe takes a bit longer?

Thank you for response.   

My biopsy was for endrometrial cancer, yes there are other Doctors but receptionist said  I will have to wait for the Doctor  who requested  biopsy and she is only in surgery Tuesday and Fridays ! 

Hopefully this means all is ok but with how long it has all took it is so stressful. The consultants secretary had been on holiday for 2 of the 6 weeks  so I'm sure that has had an impact on waiting time as well. 

Good to hear your results were speedy and hope they were favourable

its awful the waiting and not knowing.....I got my results within 2 weeks,sadly was breast cancer but saw the Consultant a week later and a week after that I had a lumpectomy with a couple of nodes removed which were all clear thankfully...back to see Consultant a week today for what’s next.... 

All mine was done so quickly I didn’t have time to think but have since it’s been done!! The cancer has gone yayyy but feel tearful silly moo me.... lol 

If it was urgent I’m sure someone would have been in touch as guidelines so very strict now!!

I'm so glad you have been dealt with so quickly and everything will be fine.  Puts my experience into prospective and yes you're right I'm sure I would of heard if anything sinister was found.
