Hope you like these, Brian
Lovely colours in the previous post Brian and your new projects are coming on in leaps and bounds.
Still a bit warm for long walks so am trying to stay cool indoors. Very muggy here at the moment and even the birds have taken to sheltering within the honeysuckle.
The local pub is looking beautiful with its glorious hanging baskets
Last but not least the lovely flowers my friend gave m me this week
Have a good weekend all. Jules
Great photos again Brian. The tree looks as though it is giving itself a hug and the wisteria archway is 'blooming beautiful'. They are aiming to create something similar at Wisley. Was in early growth when I visited in May.
Enjoy your Sunday with Mrs B; hopefully you have somewhere shady to relax as it is going to be another sunny one. Am out inthe garden watching the baby goldfinches feeding....best time of the day. Jules x
Lovely shots of the beauty nature offers us Brian. Favourite has to be the art produced through topiary; so clever and a very moving image. I am spending the day with a friend in London today followed by a trip to the theatre. Am wondering what my camera lens may snap this time; it had an early start with this beautiful view first thing though apparently we may get thunderstorm later!
Hope you and Mrs B have a pleasant weekend. Jules
Beautiful pictures again, thank you.
Hot weather certainly curtailing my 'exercise' along with managing to sprain my ankle yesterday. Mind you the ice pack treatment proved useful for both problems!!
Have included a couple of shots taken when visiting Regents Park last week.
Stay safe in the sun all (as I keep the blinds closed as early as 8 a m in the morning!!) Jules
Good morning folks,
Hope we get some rain soon as my son went to our local chip shop who told him potatoes just arent growing like they should due to the dry weather. He was told they may double in price in the next few weeks. Potatoes are my main food and I would wither away without them.
Thats all for today folks, Brian
Great pictures Brian.
Weather permitting hope to be able to witness/snap the red moon tonight.
I have noticed quite a few prices creeping up on seasonal produce. Must be awfully hard worik out on the farms just now. My daughter and family began renting an allotment a few weeks back but no work can be done yet as everything just rock solid. I cannot remember when I last had a potato as am not cooking much during this warm spell, just having lots of raw veg/fruit and what feels like gallons of water (not usually my favourite tipple ha ha).
Work was best place to be with the air con on. As not working today have been to the gym early and done a bit of shopping. Am now sitting indoors with a cold towel round my neck and watching the birds enjoying their bath water! Take care of yourself andM rs B. Who knows we may see some rain soon.
Have a pleasant weekend. Jules
