Love the mice Brian, really clever................now need the blocks of cheese to go with them!!

Cocktail stick holders will make a good addition to any dining table/bar.Great to see the results of your labours.  No doubt there will be a visit to the rubbsh recycling depot in due course to offload the sawdust.  Jules

Hi folks,

Thanks Jules.

Here are some photos of my latest turnings. Mrs B laughed when she saw the chickens. I have ordered some black nylon fishing line for the rabbitts whiskers. It will also come in useful for the cats I intend to turn shortly. Just a little bit of fun and have enjoyed turning them. The first ones always take two to three times longer than the subsequent ones as you have to try and get the proportions about right. Will try the meerkat in the next day or so Will soon have enough to opem my own zoo shortly ha ha, Brian.

You can turn the rabbitts head in virtually any direction.

Love the rabbits and the quirky chickens. I don't know why but the latter  brought back memories of playing Mr Potato Head  though no offence meant. Think the fishing line whiskers will be great.....maybe catfish could be your next project.good luck with the meerkat and glad my photos might help.

Had a lovely fox pass through my garden whilst I was having breakfast  yesterday morning. Will post a picture when on my comupter, maybe after my visit to family this weekend. Take care and best regards to you and Mrs B. Jules

Hi all,

Brian, I really like your work. And the chickens are funny! Happy

I am spending this week close to Cambridge (in Hinxton) at the training school. We are at the place where the human genome was sequenced. So intensive! But the campus is really nice, we were trying to chase some ducks and cute bunnies in the evening. Yes, the expected future of science was running around bullying bunnies Laugh

Have nice Friday!

Zuzanka

Wow Brian, you have been busy and are increasing your stocks, no doubt in readiness for your next craft shows.  They will be the 'cat's whiskers' when finished.  Well done.  Jules

Just playing catch up having been away over the past few days.  Great scenery and love the 'tree house'.  I wonder how far that staircase goes? Jules
