Seems the ideal escape route! Jules x
Take it easy(emotional rollercoasters are often difficult to ride). Good that you now have a date for Mum's funeral though fully understand your feelings towards it. She had a long life to celebrate and no doubt you will have plenty of support around you. Draw on it (I certainly held on to many hands during hubby's service and afterwards). Your forum buddies are here when you need to talk. Sending peaceful thoughts and comforting virtual hugs at this reflective time. Jules xx
Hi Jules = thank you so much. Yes - it does feel funny being 'held' = but thats whats needed. Thank God I have Anne - I would be lost without her. Poor old Mum - she was a dear. Its slowly hitting me.
Thank you so much
Good morning folks,
We have had both snow and now rain here so far and now we have small patches of blue skies so a right mixed bag of weather so far.
Thanks Steven and Jules. Here is todays offering.
Another picture with WOW factor. I love pictures of water where the refletion is so clear. Brian
Internet link still being troublesome so am trying for the third time to say what a lovely picture today. With nature once again bring pleasure I am enjoying the garden birds. It was a beautiful start today, frosty and bright so put out some extra 'fat fixes' for the birds and Blackbirds, Robins blue and great tits have been very busy just outside my patio doors so very easy watching. Will take a stroll later and then face some more 'clearing the cupboards' - doing a little every day seems to be keeping the right balance.
Hope you and Mrs B have a very peaceful Sunday. Regards Jules x
Thanks Jules, sorry you are still having troubles with your internet connection.
Here is todays picture.
I find ther is always something curiose about pictures like this as it makes me wonder where will this take us and what scenery will we see. Brian
You are so right, so many of us don't see the beauty of life. I took Photography in College a few years ago and I hope you like this one I took.
You said you like sunrises and sunsets, this is one of my sunset pictures x
Thanks for posting that picture. I love pictures like this especially where you have a tree silluetted against the sun. I have one somewhat similar excepting mine is a sunrise and the tree is an ash tree taken through our bedroom window. Thanks again.
Here is todays picture.
Something a little different this morning, Brian
Hi Brian and good morning = I hope you are okay. Love the pic = its got to be Alaska = if I could ever go there!! Well, its back to the work house in a couple of days - first day back is always the worse - I haven't been away for two weeks ever before. Just wish I was out in the snow !!
Have a lovely day
Thanks for that . When I downloaded these pictures hardly any of them had info about where the photo was taken.
I canot log on normally this morning; only through answering yours and Natys posts have I been able to access Cancer Chat
Going back to work may be hard but at least it will take your mind off things, When My mother died, I couldnt take much time off because I worked for a very small company; there was only me my boss and his wife so it was very difficult. Take care my friend, your forum friends are here for you, Brian
All these photos are lovely reminders of how beautiful the world of nature is around us.
Steven wishing you all the very best for your return to work - the first step through the door is often hard but remember you are amongst friends who understand how difficult it can be and draw on their support too. Being back will in the longer term give you some focus (I find that a help). Sending hugs to you and Anne.Jules x
