Good morning folks,

Thanks Jules and Sue, Glad that brought a smile to your face's. I am left wondering how the horse got himself there in the first place. I bet they had the dismantle the gate to get him free. Suppose the grass was greener in the other fiels.

Looks like the young one thinke he's Dumbo??? from Walt Disney films ashe is trying to fly.

Had to have a tree again. This is a Rainbow Eucaliptus tree. Have a great day folks, Brian.

Hi everyone,

Glad you liked the tree. It's bark can be green, purple, blue, orange and maroon. It's a northern hemishpere Eucaliptus and is often used for pulpwood for paper making. If any of you are interested, there ia a brialiant video of the Rainbow Eucaliptus tree on U-tube. Just type in Rainbow Eucaliptus in your search box and it brings up a load of sites including U-Tube. It wont grow in England as it's not frost resistant, the tree I mean, Brian.

You know I think yew are tree-mendous.  You are always branching out in so many directions.  Wood never have known you were so talented, maybe should form a splinter group.  Was going to ash you a question , beech never mind.  Elm, elm, elm what was I going to say ? Didn't know you were so poplar. Was feeling a bit off but no longer sycamore.  Teak tock.
Don't worry honey, I will keep taking the tablets (full moon coming up)

Hi Jules and Kathy,

Yes Mrs B was quite take with the owl picture Jules and pleased you like it.

Kathy, you forgot the Monkey Puzzel Tree and the Chest-nut tree. What you wrote was just the ticket this morning as Mrs B has twisted her ankle at the weekend so I was tasked with doing the weekly shop this morning. When I got my car out of the garage however, I found I had a flat tyre; just what I didnt need. So to come home and read your post was just the thing to cheer me up, Thank you. It was so cleaverly written and must have taken a lot of thought.I shall be smiling all day now.

Thanks again, Brian.

Rather him than me.

Just as Mrs B has grown attached to me over the years, Brian

My daughter was up all last night with our poorly sick grandchild but she did manage to find time to look out of the bedroom window for the ISS as it made a visible pass over the UK. It was too cloudy to see it but she did get this lovely picture of the moon and clouds.

Hi Brian,
I think the birds are rainbow lorikeets that I see literally from out the back.  They are ultra beautiful and always make me smile.  I think they mate for life (or so I  have been told) and always fly in pairs.  If you see one there is another nearby hidden in shrubbery.
Thank you for sharing.

Hi Kathy,

You do have some clolourful birds in your back yard.  Whenever I mention the word "Birds", Mrs B starts watching me like a Hawk with her Eagle eyes and hearing as keen as an Owl.

Not as good or as clever as your post the other day in fact it's just a load of Bullfinch.

They should go well with that tree they call the Rraibow Eucaliptus I posted the other day.

Takke care and thanks for posting, Brian.

Hi Brian,
Don't know if this will get through but I don't like to waste time, so as the Aussies put it, I am up at sparrows fart, I don't believe in feathering my own nest, rarely get down,  am never robin anyone,  won't crow about things,  put my neck and back out last week but didn't owl in pain, (so confusing trying to remember the UK birds) bit cold here but won't mention my blue t*ts, thermal undies work wonders.....
Best wishes to you and Mrs B.

Hi folks,
