I'm glad you are feeling ok about your plan. Sounds very similar to mine, Cisplatin and internal, together in spirit! Do you have someone taking notes in your consultations? I do and it's really useful to be able to read back what was said as I don't seem to take much in at the time!
I had a PET scan and having a kidney test on Monday. Im in again on 25th so I wonder if that's the start or they will tell me my start date.
Overwhelmed...totally get that hon. The paperwork, the worry, the finances, the impact on the rest of your routine. I feel guilty for all the pressure my family and friends are now under. Thankfully I still feel up to good strong walks, I'll be doing as much as I can.

i get my exercise walking around the care home that I work in, that's why I am late replying been working this afternoon and I was clothes shopping with my daughter this morning.
I have a daughter too, and yes we go medicinal shopping!
PET scan was ok. Boring for the hour it takes to be absorbed but dint feel sick or anything. The PET scan makes me feel as if I've been on a roundabout for too long!
Kidney function today so more radiation and take bloods to measure how my body filters it out.
Blood test was ok, just tiresome hanging about for so long. I have a talk at the hospital, Demystifying Oncology, on 13th which I'm told is a good talk. Is there one at your hospital? Consultant on 25th when I hope I will be told the battle plan. Bored of this already!
no don't think they do have one of those talks st my hospital.
I am waiting for my treatment plan to come through the post.
At least I get hospital transport as I live so far away, well ok 1 hour but it all mounts up at the end of the day, 2 hours traveling, 15 minutes treatment and whatever waiting for the treatment but at I have am's appointments

I am letting my manager know tomorrow at work, my transport is already booked as I am having hospital transport.
That's alright ask away, I just did planning as when I could, as home life my husband will go to work, my daughter gets a school bus and my son works away from home so to be honest I didn't really need to plan much, just time off work and transport which my local hospital is providing through a trust at the hospital called the primrose trust. Primrose is a trust that help people with cancer
Yes I am alright get a lot of support from the people I work with, if it wasn't for them I think I might have been down in the dumps.
