About CancerIve been coughing for over a week to the point where I am retching and also struggle to catch my breath while coughing.
It is affecting my sleep as well to the point where im awake more than I am asleep. I am worried about lung cancer but I know it will not be likely cancer but I was looking for some advice if i shoulod be concerned or no as Im not one to go to the GP often.

I am so sorry to hear about this persistent cough you've been having. It's awful that it has affected your sleep too. There are so many other conditions that can cause a cough other than cancer so try not to fear the worst but as this is making you worried, it's best to get in touch with your GP who will be in the best position to diagnose you and crucially give you advice on how to treat this cough.
I hope you will hear from other forum members who have had similar symptoms and that they will come and share their story with you.
