A positive but realistic article: living with Stage 4 Cancer

Merry Christmas everyone!

Whilst recovering from the stress of making and then eating Christmas dinner with our family, I tripped over this interesting article from the BBC.

Apparently more people than ever before are living for several years, despite having advanced cancer. We are NOT cancer survivors as such - which can cause confusion or embarrassment when people assume we are.

    I've just had a read and it's very interesting. It's positive but realistic like you've said and hopefully other members on the forum with stage 4 cancer will find it encouraging too.

    Despite the difficulties it comes with, lets cross our fingers that this trend for stage 4 continues in the future.
