Why we need you:

The Cancer Research UK Boat Races are holding an exclusive indoor rowing challenge in January 2017 hoping to raise £100,000 for Cancer Research UK to help our fund our pioneering, life-saving research. The extreme challenge will involve 20 teams of 6 competing to complete a marathon relay in the fastest time.
Every volunteer, including our massage therapists, are vital to make sure our participants feel appreciated after their challenge, all helping to bring forward a day when all cancers are cured.

What skills do you need?

  • Qualified Massage Therapist
  • Ideally, some experience with sports therapy
  • Insurance that covers practicing at our event

What will you be doing?

There will be a therapy station set up at the venue and you will be providing massages and advice to competitors throughout the event. Please note you will need to bring a couch/mat and towels to the event.

How will you be supported?

Prior to the event, you will be contacted by a member of the team to brief you about the event and answer any questions you may have.  On the day we will offer refreshments to keep you energised!
