What if breakfast could do more than just set you up for the day? What if there was a breakfast that could help find a cure for cancer? Some say breakfast is the most important meal of the day. At Cancer Research UK we say, it’s the most important meal of the year. That’s why in 2016 we’re bringing back Britain’s Biggest Breakfast.
To mark the return of Britain’s Biggest Breakfast in 2016 we’re organising a breakfast event in King’s Lynn on Friday 11 March – and we need your help!
Why we need you?
Our Fundraising Event Coordinators are a group of especially engaged and motivated volunteers who help us raise money and awareness of Cancer Research UK’s work in their communities. They are one of the most powerful tools we have for saving lives through influencing others, so their help is absolutely invaluable.
As a Fundraising Event Coordinator you will use your passion for the cause and local knowledge to help us make Britain’s Biggest Breakfast in King’s Lynn a truly memorable event.
What will I be doing?
- Helping us organise a Britain’s Biggest Breakfast event in King’s Lynn
- Identifying places within your local community to promote the event
- Helping sell tickets
- Meeting your Local Fundraising Manager from Cancer Research UK to share your ideas
- Helping beat cancer sooner!
What support will I be given?
Your Local Fundraising Manager will provide all the materials and support you need to feel comfortable as a Fundraising Event Coordinator.
How much time do I need to commit?
Britain’s Biggest Breakfast takes place on Friday 11 March. Ideally, you’ll be able to commit a couple of hours a week during the months leading up to the event to help us make it a success.
Why we need you
Every step we make towards beating cancer relies on every pound, every hour and every person. We need you to help us by volunteering. Play a part in this inspiring story and volunteer. Help us to create more tomorrows.
We are committed to giving you the best experience possible and believe that the volunteer relationship is one of honour, trust and mutual understanding.
