Why we need you

As part of Cancer Research UK’s new research strategy, we have ambitious plans to re-invent the way we fund research. Grand Challenge and Pioneer are both an integral part of this and will help us deliver on our commitment to support more innovative high-risk, high-reward research.

We’re looking for an intern to help us promote Grand Challenge as we prepare to open the call for submissions for our second ever funding round, and to help the Pioneer Award go from strength to strength by acquiring new research partners.

This role would suit an individual who has an interest in science but would also like to develop their marketing, communication and project management skills within the world’s largest independent cancer charity.

Ideally, we would like someone who can commit to 4 days a week for 12 weeks, but the scheme is flexible and this can be discussed on a 1 to 1 basis.
