About the opportunity

World Cancer Day takes places on 4 February every year, with people across the world uniting in the fight against cancer. Cancer Research UK aims to use this day to this day to inspire, unite and engage our supporters. Traditionally this has involved rallying people behind a fundraising ask and sharing updates on our work.

For World Cancer Day 2018 we would like to move our messaging beyond fundraising alone. It feels like there is a real opportunity to make the day more relevant to the needs and interests of our supporters – in particular people affected by cancer. We want to use the day as a platform for key messages and would your help to achieve this.

Share your thoughts, feelings and perspectives in our short survey and help us shape our plans. We’d like to hear honest reflections on our activities to date and where you think the opportunities are. Your responses will help us understand what people affected by cancer think about World Cancer Day and what our key messages should be.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to get in touch with us by emailing involvement@cancer.org.uk or calling 0203 469 8777.
