About the opportunity

NHS England has launched a consultation on radiotherapy services. The consultation is seeking feedback on a new approach to delivering adult radiotherapy services. The proposed plan aims to set out how modernised services should be organised across England so that patients can access sustainable, high-quality and safe treatment.

Our Policy Team consistently call for greater access to the latest innovations in radiotherapy and for more support for radiotherapy services. As part of the consultation we will be submitting a response, which will outline our position on the new approach. It’s import to us that this response is informed by the needs and experiences of people affected by cancer.

Do you or a loved one have experience of receiving radiotherapy treatment? Help us to accurately represent the views of patients by sharing your experience of accessing treatment in our short survey here.

If you would like a paper copy of the survey to complete please email involvement@cancer.org.uk or call us on 0203 469 8777.
