In the UK, about 4 in 10 cases of cancer are preventable, and are caused by harmful lifestyle factors. One of these risk factors is being overweight or obese, but we know many people aren't aware of this and obesity rates are increasing.

We're particularly worried about high levels of obesity in children. Research shows that being obese as a child increases your risk of being overweight or obese as an adult. Overweight or obese adults have an increased risk of getting cancer along with many other health conditions.

Your views will help shape our work and enable us to get better at talking about obesity and cancer. Everything you share means we can concentrate our efforts where you think it will make the biggest difference and support our work to reduce people's risk of getting cancer.

Share your thoughts, feelings and perspective in our short survey. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to get in touch with us by emailing involvement@cancer.org.uk or by calling 0203 469 8777.
