Bucket Collection Volunteer - Bath City Centre
Apply right now!
STAND UP TO CANCER NEEDS YOU.
CANCER PATIENTS NEED YOU.
FUTURE GENERATIONS NEED YOU.
Why we need you:
On Friday 21st October we need bucket collectors to help raise funds for Cancer Research UK on one of our biggest fundraising days of the year - STAND UP TO CANCER!
Fundraising through bucket collections gives us a great opportunity to engage the public and raise vital funds to beat cancer sooner. We need your help right now to save lives. 100% of the money you raise for Stand Up To Cancer will fund translational research. This takes developments in the lab and transforms them into new tests and treatments for cancer patients in the UK.
We would like you to volunteer anytime between 9am – 6pm on Friday 21st October.
What will you be doing?
You will be collecting money from the public, encouraging them to donate to Stand Up To Cancer.
What skills do you need?
- Great communication skills and enthusiasm for fundraising
- A proactive, friendly and approachable attitude
What support will we give you?
We will give you a full briefing and you will receive support from other collection volunteers and Cancer Research UK staff on the day.
What benefits can you expect?
- The chance to develop your skills and gain hands-on experience in volunteering in a fundraising environment
- The opportunity to meet new and like-minded people and be part of a passionate team
- The satisfaction of knowing you are making a valuable contribution to the life-saving work of Cancer Research UK

Bath City Centre, BA1 1LY
