You will get 24 FREE training sessions in the London Aquatic Centre, home of the 2012 Olympic Games. Sessions are provided by qualified diving coaches from the Tom Daley Diving Academy in partnership with Olympic Medallist Diver Tom Daley.

This training will help you to get into excellent shape and teach you the techniques you will need to perform multiple dives, ensuring you are completely prepared for your big day.

Your training group will be just 10-15 people and aimed at complete beginners, so it's a great chance to learn an incredible new skill.

Please be aware that, as this is a brand new event, if enough people have not signed up by the first training session we will unfortunately not be able to continue with the event.

At the end of your training you will have the exhilarating opportunity to showcase your new diving skills to friends, family and colleagues in a live diving show with your fellow course-mates at the London Aquatic Centre.

Once you sign up, you will receive a link to an online ticketing page where your friends and family will be able to buy tickets to support you. We ask that you sell at least 15 tickets by your 5th week of training on 27 April.

  • Commit to at least 18 of the 24 training sessions
  • Raise a minimum of £1,350 for Cancer Research UK, to contribute to life-saving research
  • Sell at least 15 tickets to friends, family and colleagues to come enjoy the live show at the end of your training
  • Have a great time meeting people, developing your fitness and taking on a totally new challenge!

Ultimate High Diving is open to anybody over the age of 18 at the first training session on 23 March 2017.

You should be able to:

  • Swim a minimum of 25m unaided
  • Be confident in deep water
  • Do a standard dive from the side of the pool, as this will really help you learn how to do more unique dives from a higher diving board

We ask that if you have a pre-existing medical condition you seek your doctor’s advice before registering for the diving event, and we do not advise taking part if you’re pregnant.

If you have a question we haven't covered here you can give us a ring on 0300 123 1022 (Monday to Friday from 8.00am to 6.00pm)

We're always looking for new opportunities to improve our events and hold more in the future.

If you would love to take part but can't make it to London, let us know which city you'd like us to come to next and we'll let you know as soon as we make it.
