Taking on a long distance cycle is a huge achievement and is extremely rewarding, this training plan is designed to ensure that you get the maximum possible enjoyment from the experience. Training will often take place over a long period of time, this plan contains both cycling sessions and gym work to keep you motivated throughout and will help you get that time you want.

Follow our beginner cycling plan if this is your first cycling event or you only cycle infrequently. Follow this plan and we’ll show you how to incorporate training around your everyday life to make sure you’re ready for race day.

If you’ve taken part in a cycling event before and are looking to improve your time, then our intermediate plan will be the one for you. The plan will help you train more regularly and will include some longer cycles.
