Hooky Alternative Race for Life 2017
About the event
The Hooky Alternative Race for Life follows a 3 mile route that starts and ends at the Sun Inn, Hook Norton. The race is open to men, women, children, dogs and tortoises, on the condition that they all wear something pink. (Underwear is allowed!)
On the day
The 2017 race will take place on Sunday 1st October at 3pm. Route maps, instructions and a race number are sent to all entrants on receipt of the entry fee.
All runners and their families/supporters are invited to refresh and rehydrate at the post-race party at The Sun, where free food is provided for all entrants and prizes are given out for first and second place in each age category.
Entry is £5 per adult, children, dogs or tortoises are £3. Only those 18 or over may enter online, should you wish to enter anyone under 18 or indeed a dog then entry forms are available in the Hook Norton village shop and the Sun Inn or by contacting Gill Begnor.
Prizes are donated by local businesses and all money raised goes to Cancer Research UK.
