The route at Roundhay Park is a mixture of grass, paths and woodland tracks - some of which cross through streams. Depending on weather conditions the course can get very muddy and slippy. Although this isn't a course to be setting a new personal best, trail shoes will help you maintain grip and get a faster time.

Please make sure you bring spare layers for the cold November weather and dress appropriately for the conditions.

2XU discount!

2XU are offering 20% off full price purchases over £25 to all Tough 10 entrants. Full details available on sign up. Browse the collection on their website.

The race will be chip timed using ResultsBase.

The timing chip is a blue loop that attaches to one of your trainers and will be sent out to entrants the week before the event.

Here are some instructions on how to attach it on the day.

Our events couldn't go ahead without the amazing support of our awesome volunteers. Right now, we are looking for the following roles for our Tough 10 in Roundhay Park:

  • Event Day Volunteer - whatever time you can join us at the event, there are many ways you can help out in this role. You could set up marquees, put out flags and banners, get water to the start line or hand out medals at the finish. If you have a proactive attitude and loads of enthusiasm then we want to hear from you!  Find out more about this role
  • Course Marshal Volunteer - inspire, cheer and motivate participants by covering one of the marshal points on the course.
