Devolved Elections 2016

We know that one day research will beat cancer. With political action, this day will come sooner. The Scottish Parliament, Welsh Assembly and Northern Ireland Assembly have elections in May 2016. This is a key opportunity for us to keep cancer on the political agenda in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, so we’re asking our supporters to encourage as many election candidates as possible to support our vital life-saving work.

If you live in Scotland ask your election candidates to make sure all patients have quick access to vital cancer tests.
If you live in Wales ask your election candidates to support our calls to improve early diagnosis.
If you live in Northern Ireland ask your election candidates to show their support for introducing a cancer strategy.

Last year, supporters from England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland asked their election candidates to Cross Cancer Out ahead of the General Election. In total, a third of all MPs elected to the House of Commons supported our campaign in making sure cancer remained a political priority.

Are you a candidate?
