Research Prizes
Cancer Research UK is inviting nominations for three research prizes to recognise outstanding contributions in the field of cancer research.
Nominations for the 2013 prizes are now open.
Each prize includes an honorarium or research grant, a commemorative trophy, and free attendance at the NCRI Conference where the presentation ceremony will take place.
The three prize categories are:
The Lifetime Achievement Prize honours an individual who has demonstrated a lifetime commitment to the fight against cancer, making exceptional advances in the field, and who has had a significant and sustained role in furthering our understanding of cancer or a major impact on the lives of people with cancer.

The Translational Prize recognises an outstanding translational research team that has made seminal cancer research discoveries which are at the cutting edge of scientific novelty and which have significantly impacted on the continuing effort to prevent, diagnose and cure cancer.

The Future Leaders Prize recognises an individual who has completed their PhD within the last ten years and has demonstrated the potential to achieve world-leading status by producing international quality research.
