The Flora London Marathon is said to be the best marathon of them all. With the support of the crowds, fantastic atmosphere, this marathon is not one to miss!
As a fundraising event, there is no marathon in the world that comes close to the famous Flora London Marathon. In 2008 we had a team of 1,500 runners taking part, raising over £1.5 million towards our vital research work.

If you already have a place in the 2009 Flora London Marathon, please send us your details to receive a sponsorship pack. Please note that the ballot is now closed, you will not know if you have a place or not until the first week in October 2008.
How to register
Registration for the 2009 Flora London Marathon is now closed. Please visit www.london-marathon.co.uk for more information about the event.
Please apply for a Cancer Research UK Golden Bond (guaranteed) place. In return for a Golden Bond place we ask you to raise a minimum sponsorship of £2000 (not including giftaid), and the entry fee for the event is £100 which will go towards your fundraising target. To apply for a place please enquire using the link on this web page. After you have filled out your details you will be sent a link to download the Gold Bond Application Form.

Cheering points
We will be there on the day cheering you on! Family and friends are welcome to join our energetic team at the 13 mile and 22 mile markers and in the grandstand near the finish line.
Post-race reception
Cancer Research UK will help you escape the chaos at the end of the marathon with an invitation to join us at our post-race reception at Carlton House Terrace. We will have refreshments, a free sports massage service and changing facilities on offer – all just a couple of minutes walk from the finish line.
