What to do once your race is over
We hope your race went well and you enjoyed the day! So what's next?Exercising after your race
- First, stop and recover. Take it easy. Your legs will feel tired and stiff, and you won't feel like going out for another run immediately.
- Once rested, go for an easy walk each day, for a couple of days. This will help your legs recover faster and you'll feel better for it.
- Your endurance levels will now be at their highest. If you stop running now, the hard work of the last few months could go to waste. By cutting back on the miles and running faster, you can maintain a high level of fitness.
