Welcome Luton Welcome to Luton Relay For Life - a fun-filled overnight event that includes everyone - young or old, sporty or non-sporty.

Following the huge success of our first Relay in 2008, the committee are busy planning an exciting range of entertainment, including music and games, as well as the memorable Candle of Hope ceremony. If you would like to enter a team, entertain us, sponsor us or be with us on the day, we'd love to hear from you. It's all about contributing to an amazing day and night to help anyone whose life has been touched by cancer. So act now, come and join us for one of the most memorable days of your year!

We all have our own personal reasons for becoming involved with this event. Our committee is a group of friends and family who simply want to make a difference and give you all a truly memorable experience that you will never forget.

We were totally overwhelmed by our local community's generosity and enthusiasm and are aiming to beat the £80,230 raised in 2008. We are looking forward to a fantastic day and night and hope that you can join in the fun. If you are happy to share your story and raise awareness further, please let us know.
What is Relay Relay For Life is a unique fundraising event. It gives your community the chance to celebrate the lives of those touched by cancer and to raise money to bring hope for the future.

If you are a Survivor or know someone who is, we would encourage you to call 0800 0776105 to find out more about this important aspect of our Relay. If you are unsure about taking part and would like to speak to other survivors who attended in 2008 please let us know. Leave a message for Sue.
 

Candle of Hope

Our Candle of Hope ceremony was one of the most memorable parts of the event in 2008. Our team members and visitors are still talking about how emotional and uplifted they felt. Please dedicate a candle to your friends and family who have been touched by cancer. Let their light shine throughout the night around our track.
 

Entertainment and activities

Too much to fit in this space! Something for everyone, from live music, arts and crafts to team games and sports...what an event we had! This year, even more new and exciting entertainment to make this a fantastic family day out.
