Welcome Hastings Welcome to the second Relay For Life Hastings. Last year we had over 150 people take part in the 24 hour Relay weekend. This year we hope to double that.

A memorable and rewarding fundraising event, Relay For Life brings the opportunity for our community to come together, bringing hope that those lost to cancer will never be forgotten, those facing cancer will always be supported and hope that one day cancer will be overcome. It will be a truly inspirational and amazing event that you'll never forget.
What is Relay Relay For Life is a unique fundraising event. It gives your community the chance to celebrate the lives of those touched by cancer and to raise money to bring hope for the future.

Fundraising before the day Our teams that are already registerd are doing well, there have been coffee mornings, race and curry nights, discos and dog shows. Coming up is a talent night and we have lots of fun arranged for the celebration weekend too. Check out our photos on the local website. On the day

Survivors lap of honour

Survivors are at the heart of every Relay. The opening lap is a celebration of life for those who have beaten cancer and a sign of hope for those fighting cancer. This lap will then be followed by a reception for all survivors who are then invited to stay and participate in as much, or as little, of the rest of the event as is chosen.
 

Candle of Hope

One of the most emotional parts of Relay For Life. Candles of Hope are dedicated to those who have been lost, are fighting or have beaten cancer.
 

Entertainment and activities

Some of the activities we have planned are: a fancy dress hour, a space hopper race, comedians, team competitions and a car boot sale.
