Liz Aldridge, a cancer survivor herself, set up Derby's first Relay in 2006. Since then, our fantastic community has raised over £150,000 for Cancer Research UK. The event is organised and run by volunteers - all of whom want to raise as much money as possible to beat cancer forever, whilst delivering a fun and life-changing event for an amazing community.
What is Relay Relay For Life is a unique fundraising event. It gives your community the chance to celebrate the lives of those touched by cancer and to raise money to bring hope for the future.

Fundraising before the day Fundraising starts NOW! Relay For Life is a year-round fundraising event. If you wish to take part, why not get your team to have a posh meal at one of your houses and make donations? Or collect at a local supermarket, run a quiz night, ask for donations, run a sweapstake... there's loads you can do and every little helps!
