Fundraising before the day We encourage our teams to fundraise in advance of the event so we are not dependent on good weather! But they will all be there with their stalls and there will be plenty of opportunities to part with your money for a good cause on the day.

On the day

Survivors lap of honour

Our event will open at 14:00 on the 31st May 2008 with the traditional lap of honour by our Survivors as they are our VIP guests and our inspiration. The Survivors will then be invited to attend a reception in their honour

Candle of Hope

As the day draws to an end we will hold our Candle of Hope ceremony. This is a very moving and emotional time as we pay our respects to those who have lost their fight against cancer, and we show our support to those who continue their fight.

Entertainment and activities

We are planning lots of fun family orientated activities as well as stalls where you can get valuable information, help and advice. So bring the children and grand children, your parents and grand parents. There will be something for everyone at this years Relay for Life in Brighton
