Relay for Life Cancer Awareness and Information Committee Member
What will I be doing?
- Ensuring that key cancer awareness messages are visible throughout the event, using as many channels as are appropriate and open to you. This could include anything from leaflets in goody bags to signs around the Relay track.
- Working imaginatively looking for creative ways to engage those attending the Relay in cancer awareness issues – interactive games, prizes, quizzes... the list is endless!
- Working with the Logistics Committee Member to determine the most appropriate site for a cancer information tent, tables, chairs and any other relevant equipment at the Relay.
- Liaising with members of your local community to identify key Cancer Research UK scientific staff or cancer nurses who could be invited to attend the Relay.
