Relay For Life Accounting and Registration Committee Member

What will I be doing?

  • Banking and acknowledging donations and keeping accurate financial records for Relay. As well as being good practice, these will permit Cancer Research UK to reclaim Gift Aid on donations.
  • Keeping track of the members in each team and how much they (individually and as a team) have raised before the Relay. Most of the money raised by teams will be taken prior to the event on a special Bank Night and you'll be in charge of coordinating this night.
  • Awarding incentives.
  • Checking in the teams on the big day at the Registration desk. Make them feel really welcome!
  • Arranging a secure area to count and keep money at the Relay and taking any donations made on the day.
  • The fun part – announcing the top fundraisers (team and individual) and awarding them prizes at the end of the Relay!
