TK Maxx

TK Maxx GiveGet campaign
"TK Maxx is committed to building a better future for children, and raising funds to support research into childhood cancers is an important part of that. Our stock collection for Cancer Research UK enables customers to help raise funds at their convenience and without spending a penny. We were delighted to raise £3.2million in 2008 and couldn't have done this without the support of our customers and employees."

Susanne Given, Managing Director, TK Maxx UK and Ireland

Brands for less fashion retailer TK Maxx has supported Cancer Research UK since 2004 raising £7 million for the charity through stock generation campaigns and sale of merchandise. Its stock collection campaign has been running for five years and is the biggest of its kind in the UK.

All funds raised by TK Maxx go into the Together for Kids Fund, which was created by the partnership in 2008 to help fund research into childhood cancers.

During each stock collection campaign, people across the country clear out their bulging wardrobes and bring their unwanted quality items into over 200 TK Maxx stores. The items are then passed on to Cancer Research UK shops to be sold to raise valuable funds to help beat childhood cancers.

TK Maxx has shown further support of Cancer Research UK by working in partnership with the charity to support Cancer Research UK's Little Star Awards. The awards recognise the bravery of each and every child who is diagnosed with cancer.
